Backstory: The D-Phantom is an alternate version of Danny Fenton. Unlike Danny, he was born with his ghost power and discovered them when he was about four or five-years-old. When his parents learned he had ghost powers, they sent him to live with the Vlad of their universe for a month to teach him how to control them. As years went by, he soon mastered his powers and became an apprentice to the Alternate Vlad. Then when The D-Phantom turned fourteen he decided to use his powers for good and to help people while still working for Vlad. But then Vlad created a serum he called 'Elixir' that has the power to kill ghosts and he planned to use it to destroy any ghost that was in the real world even those who were good. The D-Phantom protested the idea and his trust in Vlad was broken and decided to go against him to stop Elixir. The D-Phantom soon learned about another universe that was different than his, and saw that it had another version of himself who was Danny Phantom. He did some research on Danny's universe and learned about how he and the ghosts of his universe are stronger than the ones there, and about Danny and his life there. Then he went to Danny's universe to get help in stopping Elixir.
