Danny was easily the funnest one to design. I actually already came up with this kind of design years ago. I figured he would start to develop muscles from his activity of ghost fighting, and I decided to give him longer spikier hair cuz I thought it fit well and actually made him LOOK older. I’ve noticed that a lot of people give him either a mustache or a goatee, and that just annoys to hell out of me. I don’t think it fits and it really clashes with the fact that his greatest enemies, Vlad and Dark Dan Phantom, both have goatees. I mean, would you wanna look like your archenemy? So yeah, I think longer hair would be more appropriate on him if he were older.

Four years later, Danny is now a young adult and still keeping his town safe with his best friend, Tucker; girlfriend, Sam; and cousin/stepsister, Danielle. One day, a strange group of robots started attacking Amity Park in order to find something they’re looking for, and Danny immediately flew off to stop them. However, he was overpowered by them and taken prisoner. Because of this, he cannot help the Nicktoons in their struggle against the mysterious threat, but is instead reunited with a former teammate of his who shares the same fate as him. All he is forced to do is wait until they find a way out of their imprisonment or for his old team to find out where they are and come to their aid. Danny has grown as both a person and a half-ghost, having now become experienced with his ghost powers and even developed some new powers.
